At Svala Sauna, we are dedicated to ensuring your sauna arrives safely, securely, and on time—no matter where you are in Australia. This page outlines everything you need to know about how we process, pack, and ship your order.

Order Processing

Order Deadline: 5:00 PM AEST
Once your order is placed, we will verify product availability and begin processing your order within 1–3 business days.

  • In-Stock Items: Orders will be shipped directly from our warehouse.
  • Out-of-Stock or Custom Units: If your sauna is not in stock, additional production lead time is required before shipping. This typically takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the model and current demand.

We will notify you via email regarding your estimated dispatch date shortly after your order is confirmed.

Packaging & Freight Handling

All saunas are professionally packed in durable wooden crates to protect your unit during long-distance transit. Our freight carriers specialize in handling oversized and fragile items, ensuring your sauna arrives in perfect condition.

Each unit is placed on a pallet or skid for forklift handling

Packaging includes protective framing, strapping, and waterproof covering

Delivery Timeframes (After Dispatch)

Ships within 1–3 business days. Estimated transit times vary by location:

  • Metro areas: 7–14 business days
  • Remote or rural: May take slightly longer due to courier accessibility

Once dispatched, you’ll receive full tracking details and delivery instructions via email.

Delivery Conditions

Deliveries are made to the nearest accessible point (typically curbside or driveway).

A tailgate lift may be used, but for large units, you may need to arrange on-site assistance or forklift at time of delivery.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive and inspect the shipment upon arrival.

If you have any special delivery requirements (gated property, limited access, etc.), please contact us prior to dispatch so we can coordinate with the carrier.
